They are perfectly designed to allow for significant smooth water flow from any filter or pump. The dark interior of the pipe prevents algae from clogging the flow over time. Use with aquavitro® Intake Pipes and Intake Screens to complete an excellent quality set for intake and return on any freshwater aquarium filtration system. They come with a diameter of 13 mm and 17 mm; be certain to check sizing of hose and pipe used to match to the appropriate diameter of filters and pumps.
