The aquavitro® surgical grade stainless steel Intake Pipes offer an incredibly durable and sleek looking alternative to standard filter intakes for a variety of different types of aquarium filters or pumps. The holes are perfectly sized to allow for significant smooth water flow while safely blocking fish and other aquarium inhabitants from being pulled into the filter. The dark interior of the pipes prevents algae from clogging the flow to the filter or pump. The submerged portion can be easily detached for cleaning as necessary. The diameter and length is easily complimented by the aquavitro® Intake Screens for use with dwarf shrimp, fry or very small fish. Use with the aquavitro® Return Pipes to complete an excellent quality set for intake and return on any freshwater aquarium filtration system. They come with diameters of 13 mm and 17 mm; be certain to check sizing of hose and pipe used to match to the appropriate diameter of filters and pumps.
