Fertilizer tablets are inserted into the soil at the base of the plants to provide nutrients for the plants to absorb through their roots. Your plants will grow better with enriched soil. Even if you have Flourite plant substrate, it is recommended to use fertilizer tablets because it acts more as a fertilizer binder than a nutrient generator. The only time these tablets are less recommended is when you start an aquarium with Stratum substrate or any other similar substrate that releases a lot of nutrients in the first six months.
Add one tablet per 10 cm (2.5 in) square, more than an inch deep in planted areas.
Repeat every two months.
