Quick Overview

Like all snails, it is very sensitive to aquarium pollution. Feeds on algae or plants, or spirulina, and any other food that falls to the bottom of the tank. Best known for being very large in size. They tend to lay their eggs outside of the water near the surface of the water. Better to avoid aquatic plants with soft leaves. Can be kept in planted aquariums.
